A protégé of Jean-George Vongerichten, Angelo has worked with some of the industry's most renowned restaurateurs, including Alain Ducasse, Stephen Starr and Masaharu Morimoto.
He has been a senior or consulting chef for such diverse restaurants as Jean-Georges, Spice Market, Buddakan, and Morimoto in New York, and Le Louis XV in Monaco. Angelo is familiar to many from his three seasons competing on Top Chef, as well as appearances on numerous other television shows including HBO Max's Selena + Chef. Angelo was a founding chef and partner in the Michelin-listed Anejo Restaurants in NY. He has written two cookbooks, Flavor Exposed and Healthy Latin Eating, which drew inspiration from his Dominican heritage.

In 2020, New York Champagne launchd year-round events dubbed "NYCW365" and expanded across the US through a virtual event footprint.
November 2022's New York Champagne Week became a full-fledged destination event, inviting champagne enthusiasts from all over the world to participate in this year's champagne-packed festivities.
And, for the 10th Anniversary of New York Champagne Week, Ashley will be hosting multi-city NYCW pop ups across the country with the piece de resistance taking place in NYC in November 2023. The champagne pop up parties start by popping off in Phoenix for New Year's Eve.
In 2016, Ashley's focus on all things bubbly awarded her a nod in Wine Enthusiast magazine as a 40 under 40 Tastemaker where she was aptly dubbed 'The Champagne Queen'. And, in October 2018 Ashley laundhed a sparkling wine focused sister platform, 'The Fizz is Female' which shines a spotlight on leading ladies in the bubbly wine biz and celebrates sparkling wine made, owned and/or led by female powerhouses from around the world.
Shortly after graduating, Nicole found herself at the helm of Michael Mina's Seablue at The Borgata Hotel & Casino. Starting as a captain, a position that opened her eyes (and heart) to the world of wine, Nicole discovered her true love in her first sip of a 1969 DRC Domaine de la Romanee-Conti La Tache Grand Cru.
In 2010, passion and ambition took her to New York City, where she evolved as a beverage director. Still, Nicole knew she wanted to immerse herself in the world of wine fully. She seized an opportunity with Lauber Imports as a wine consultant, which allowed her to further her wine education. This experience paved the way for Nicole to take on the role of current State Manager of New York for Chateau Lafite Rothschild. After assisting with the launch of Barons de Rothschild Champagne, Nicole vowed that she would find her way to the bubbly life.
Fast forward to now, with great enthusiasm, Nicole embraces her role as National Brand Manager. She is excited for champagne enthusiasts to experience the fearless pursuit of pleasure with each sip of Beau Joie Champagne.
